Terms of Service
Please review these Terms of Service carefully before using the Site. By accessing or using our website for booking purposes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to respect these Terms of Service. These Terms apply to all clients without exception. If a client does not agree to these Terms, My Beloved & Co reserves the right to refuse service. Clients are encouraged to retain a copy of these Terms of Service for their records and future reference.
AGREEMENT
My Beloved & Co reserves the right to update or modify this Agreement at any time. Clients are encouraged to review this Agreement periodically. For clients who previously accepted an earlier version, any revisions will take effect thirty (30) days after being posted on the website. Continued use of My Beloved & Co services constitutes acceptance of these changes. However, once a specific version of the Agreement has been accepted, any subsequent modifications will not be enforced without the client’s explicit consent. If a client is asked to accept updated terms and chooses not to do so, continued access to and use of My Beloved & Co services may be restricted.
CLIENTS CONDUCT EXPECTATIONS
My Beloved & Co is committed to creating a positive and enjoyable planning experience for all clients. Accordingly, all clients are expected to treat our materials, staff, and all individuals involved with professionalism and respect at all times.
PROHIBITED CONDUCT
When using the services of My Beloved & Co, the following actions are strictly prohibited:
Violating any applicable laws, rules, or regulations.
Interfering with, disrupting, or attempting to compromise the operation or functionality of our services.
Damaging, misusing, or improperly handling My Beloved & Co property or materials.
Engaging in discrimination based on race, color, ethnicity, gender, height, or religion.
Harassing, stalking, abusing, threatening, or causing harm to employees, contractors, or any individuals associated with My Beloved & Co.
Using our services for unauthorized commercial solicitation or promotional purposes without prior written consent.
Using our services in a way that falsely implies an unauthorized affiliation, endorsement, or association with My Beloved & Co or any of its licensors, products, services, or brands.
Initiating legal action against My Beloved & Co except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
ACCOUNT POLICY
Clients may be required to create an account to access certain features of our services or to purchase items. Clients are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information, including their password, and for limiting access to their account. By using our services, clients agree to assume full responsibility for all activities conducted under their account.
PAYMENT POLICY
Clients are responsible for ensuring that their accounts contain sufficient funds prior to booking a service. A $15 daily fee will be applied to any returned or failed payments.
Multiple payment options, including Afterpay and PayPal, will be available. My Beloved & Co requires half of the payment which will be considered as a NON-REFUNDABLE Deposit at the time of booking to secure services. The rest of the payment will be due five days before the scheduled event. In the event of unforeseen circumstances requiring a postponement, clients must contact My Beloved & Co as soon as possible, and our coordinator will work with them to arrange an alternative event date, subject to availability.
Vacation services are scheduled only upon receipt of full payment.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made on the same day as the event or one day before the event are NOT eligible for a refund. Cancellations made within three or two days of the scheduled event will receive a partial refund of 20% of that remaining payment.
ALCOHOL POLICY
My Beloved & Co is a Christian event planning company and does not serve alcoholic beverages, with the sole exception of wine. Wine may be provided upon request, and clients must inform the Coordinator at the time of booking and specify their preferred type. If clients choose to bring their own alcoholic beverages, they assume full responsibility for the proper disposal of all related items, including bottles, cans, and glassware.
NON-SMOKING POLICY
To protect the health, safety, and experience of our clients, guests, and staff, My Beloved & Co maintains a strict non-smoking policy at all events and service locations.
1. Smoke-Free Environments
All My Beloved & Co events are strictly non-smoking. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Cigarettes
• Cigars
• Vapes and e-cigarettes
• Hookahs
• Marijuana or any illegal substances
This policy applies to all guests, clients, vendors, volunteers, and staff present at any My Beloved & Co setup or event space.
2. No Smoking Near Décor or Equipment
Smoking is strictly prohibited within a minimum of 50 feet of all My Beloved & Co décor, furnishings, linens, florals, candles, arches, tents, rugs, and equipment. This is to prevent any fire hazard, smoke damage, or odor contamination.
3. Responsibility of the Client
The client is responsible for informing all guests of this policy prior to the event. My Beloved & Co will not be held liable for violations committed by any guest or third party at the event.
4. Violation of Policy
If this policy is violated:
• The responsible individual may be required to leave the area immediately
• A cleaning, repair, or replacement fee may be applied
• My Beloved & Co reserves the right to end services immediately without refund if safety is compromised
5. Property Damage Liability
Any damage caused by smoking, fire, burns, ash, or odor to My Beloved & Co property will result in full financial responsibility to the client.
6. Faith-Based Standard
My Beloved & Co is guided by Christian values of respect and care for the body, which is considered a sacred temple. Smoking and substance use are not aligned with the atmosphere or standard we provide.
By booking services with My Beloved & Co, the client agrees to honor and enforce this Non-Smoking Policy in full.
NO SMOKING POLICY- PART 2
For the comfort, health, and safety of all clients and guests, My Beloved & Co enforces a strict no-smoking policy in all accommodations, Airbnbs, private residences, hotels, and lodging spaces provided or arranged as part of our services.
Smoking of any kind including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, vaping devices, e-cigarettes, hookahs, or any similar products is strictly prohibited inside the property, on balconies, in hallways, and in all shared or designated event spaces unless a clearly marked, approved outdoor smoking area is provided by the property owner.
Violation of this policy will result in:
• Immediate removal from the property (if deemed necessary)
• Responsibility for any cleaning, deodorizing, or damage repair fees charged by the property owner or host
• Possible forfeiture of security deposit (if applicable)
• Additional penalties as required under the property’s rules
This policy is in place to maintain a clean, healthy, and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and to protect the integrity of the properties entrusted to our care.
By booking with My Beloved & Co, you agree to fully comply with this no-smoking policy.
LIABILITY
My Beloved & Co shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages resulting from a client’s failure to adhere to the provided rules, instructions, or safety guidelines. The company assumes responsibility only in the event that an incident directly involves a vehicle owned and operated by My Beloved & Co. As a faith-based organization, we operate with trust in God’s grace and mercy while maintaining our commitment to professional standards of care and responsibility.
